CROSSWINDS
Music to challenge and inspire.
Formed in 2025, Crosswinds provides uplifting rock, pop, ambient/meditative as well as contemporary worship music. Our hope is that each song released challenges and inspires your faith.
Band members include Al Amendolare on drums, guitars and vocals, Gabe Richardson on bass, guitars and vocals, Seth Richardson on keys and vocals, and Steve Yazell on guitars, mandolin and pedal steel. (detailed band info below)
Crosswinds is also privileged to be joined by some incredible guest vocalists and musicians including Mark Bolos, Sammy and Shannon Pawlak, Bill Leverty, and many others.
Al Amendolare
Drums and Percussion, Acoustic and Electric Guitars and vocals
Multi-instrumentalist Al Amendolare brings a wealth of musical experience to Crosswinds. Besides being a long time drummer and percussionist, he is also an established guitarist/vocalist in an Upstate New York worship ensemble. In his spare time, Al loves to golf, collect sports memorabilia as well as spend time with his two grandchildren.
Gabe Richardson
Acoustic and Electric Guitars, Bass, and Vocals
Multi-instrumentalist Gabe Richardson is a Upstate New York Worship Leader at a multi campus congregation as well as the bass player/ background vocalist for the Mark Bolos Band. He is also an integral part of the Syracuse area rock/jazz instrumental project, Yazell/Richardson. Equally comfortable on bass, guitar and keyboards, Gabe brings a unique musical versatility to Crosswinds. In his free time, Gabe enjoys gaming, camping and hanging out with friends.
Seth Richardson
Piano, Keyboards and Vocals
Keyboardist and co-founder Seth Richardson has a long history of musical performance and audio production. In addition to Crosswinds, he is the keyboardist/background vocalist for the Mark Bolos Band as well as the keyboardist/pianist/producer for the critically acclaimed Syracuse area rock/jazz instrumental project, Yazell/Richardson.
In his spare time, Seth enjoys walking, reading, as well as re-organizing his ever expanding studio.
Steve Yazell
Acoustic and Electric Guitars, Pedal Steel Guitar and Mandolin
Guitarist and co-founder Steve Yazell, the "maestro of all things string" has made an name for himself on the east coast with his talents as a skilled musician, producer, and studio owner.
Besides Crosswinds, Steve is the founding father of the SAMMY nominated rock/jazz instrumental group, Yazell/Richardson. He also regularly plays guitar in an evangelistic outreach, located in the heart of the Thousand Islands.
In his free time, Steve enjoys spending time relaxing on the banks of the St. Lawrence River with his children and grandchildren.
